An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Little Miss Thoroughbred, the 1938 John Farrow adorable juvenile horse racing gambling melodrama ("From the story by Albert Demond"; about an orphan girl who wants a gambler to adopt her) starring John Litel, Ann Sheridan, Frank McHugh, Janet Chapman (in the title role), and Eric Stanley. Note that Janet Chapman was six years old and she got a big break with the lead part in this movie. But her career never really took off, and after appearing in 15 movies, mostly in tiny roles as children, she retired at the age of 14. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned two in all our years of auctioning and the last time was in 2010! Condition: fair to good. The poster has slight discoloration scattered in some areas from exposure to moisture. It has separation in portions of some crossfolds and After proper restoration the poster will look fantastic, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it. as well as a few tears of varying lengths around the edges and several of those defects are repaired with conservation tape from the back.
