Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Our Hearts Were Young and Gay, the 1944 Lewis Allen Europe romantic travel comedy ("From the gay best seller that stole America's heart!"; "Based on the book 'Our Hearts Were Young and Gay' by Cornelia Otis Skinner and Emily Kimbrough"; about a real life trip that young actress Cornelia Otis Skinner, daughter of famed actor Otis Skinner, took to Europe with her best friend; the book was a best seller, and was then turned into this enjoyable movie!) starring Gail Russell ("of 'The Uninvited'"), Diana Lynn ("of 'The Miracle of Morgan's Creek'"), Charlie Ruggles, Dorothy Gish, Beulah Bondi, James Brown, and Bill Edwards. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. There is some dust on the top of the glass (above the image) which is almost surely easily removed.
