An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Regis Toomey was an actor from the 1920s to the 1980s. He started as a leading man in the 1920s, but quickly became a supporting player, and he could play all types of roles. He is likely best remembered for his role as Uncle Arvide in Guys & Dolls, but he appeared in over 200 movies and TV shows. He passed away in 1991 at the age of 93. Important Added Info: Note that this still is undated, but Mr. Toomey looks so young in the still that we would surely think it is from the 1930s, and possibly even from 1929, when he first entered movies.
