An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Printer's Test Single-Sided One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 26" x 40") (Learn More) Kika, the 1993 Pedro Almodovar Spanish/French romantic murder crime comedy starring Victoria Abril, Peter Coyote, Veronica Forque (in the title role as Kika), Anabel Alonso, Jesus Bonilla, Karra Elejalde, Bibi Andersen, Santiago Lajusticia, Manuel Bandera, Rossy De Palma, and Alex Casanovas NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a very rare uncut printer's test! Before a poster was printed in large quantities, the printer would print a limited number of posters as "test" posters. In the case of this printer's test, the poster was printed on smaller glossy paper (which explains why the poster measures 26" x 40"), and is likely the only existing example like it! These printer's tests would then be shown to the various people in a position to "OK" them, and once they were completely approved, the printer would print the full print run of the posters at the standard size of 27" x 40". Not only is a printer's test far more rare than a regular poster, but it is also 100% genuine, there is no fear of purchasing a reproduction! Also note that this poster is printed on a much heavier than normal paper stock (we don't know why, but it is nice!). Finally, note that this poster was never machine folded! Condition: very good. There are creases and scuff marks scattered throughout the poster and there is a tear in the lower right corner. As is typical of printer's proofs, this poster has marker writing and pieces of tape scattered throughout where it was submitted for approval and was marked up.
