An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Skirts, the 1921 Hampton Del Ruth silent slapstick comedy ("Hampton Del Ruth's hipprodromic comedy spectacle in 6 acts"; a really wacky story of a young man whose mother is the bearded lady in the circus, and he works as a handyman there, but his estranged father is a millionaire; he has many wild adventures, including being rescued by an airplane from a speeding train!) starring "All Star Sunshine Comedy Cast The Singer Midgets and The Fascinating Sunshine Widows", Clyde Cook, William Franey, Chester Conklin, Polly Moran, Jack Cooper (not to be mistaken for Jackie Cooper, the famous juvenile actor in the 1920s and 1930s! Jack Cooper was an English actor from the 1910s to the 1940s who worked in the U.S. and was featured in Hal Roach and Mack Sennett movies in the 1920s), and Billy Armstrong. Note that this movie included a prologue which was filmed in "claymation", where clay figures dressed as Adam and Eve are shown in the Garden of Eden! Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. We have only previously auctioned three window cards and a still from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this lobby card!
