An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) The Footloose Heiress, the 1937 William Clemens romantic love triangle rich-woman-poor-man comedy ("...A lively romantic adventure!"; "With a splendid cast!"; about the daughter of a rich man who has a gold digging boyfriend, and her father disapproves, and she meets a hobo who she instantly dislikes, but the hobo turns out to be a highly educated man who rescues her father's company, and the girl falls in love with him!) starring Craig Reynolds, Ann Sheridan, Anne Nagel, William Hopper, and Hugh O'Connell. Note that someone at Warner Bros. noticed the great success of It Happened One Night and My Man Godfrey, and combined the two plots into this movie, and used it as a vehicle for their new hot young star Ann Sheridan. Unfortunately, they did not cast one of their top male stars like James Cagney in the lead, but instead went with Craig Reynolds. Had they used a star like Cagney, this might have been a classic!
