Date Sold 11/24/2020Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Nancy Steele Is Missing!, the 1937 George Marshall kidnapping mistaken identity family relationship crime thriller ("Based on a story by Charles Francis Coe") starring Victor McLaglen, Walter Connolly, Peter Lorre, June Lang (in the title role as Nancy Steele), Orbert Kent, Shirley Deane (as the false Nancy Steele), John Carradine, Jane Darwell, Helen Jerome Eddy and Frank Conroy NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this insert! Note that we were consigned four half-sheets and two inserts that have been folded, and because they are in lesser condition, can't possibly be rolled. Therefore, they will be sent in a standard size flat package (and that is why they are in this set of auctions, with other items that will be sent in standard flat packages). Condition: fair. The poster is entirely separated on each fold, so it is in four separate pieces. There is water staining down the right 2-3" of the poster and it has discolored the front in those areas. There are also some other smudges and stains scattered throughout, and staple holes around the edges. Obviously, the poster can be rescued by a talented restorer, but bear in mind all of the above before bidding on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
