A Homemade Spanish Language Scrapbook (measures 13 1/4" x 17"; 144 pages) (Learn More)

This is a special homemade Spanish-language scrapbook containing 144 pages of Spanish language heralds, newspaper and magazine clippings and photographs of various popular actors & actresses of the 1920s and 1930s. It was compiled by a South American movie fan who was a VERY avid theatergoer during that time. They would get Spanish language heralds from the movie theaters they attended, and they would paste them in the scrapbook along with Spanish language articles and photos they clipped out of magazines and newspapers. All of the items in this scrapbook are tightly glued to the pages, although a professional or talented amateur could remove them (I do not know if some or all can be removed without damage to the back portion of the items, but in the case of the Spanish language heralds, many of the backs of them might well be blank or only have theater information).
Important Added Info: Note that we were consigned three of these albums, and we are selling them in three separate auctions. Included in the album in this auction are Spanish language heralds of Buster Keaton, Lon Chaney, Joan Crawford, Douglas Fairbanks, and many more! There is a Spanish language herald for "Frankenstein", which is full color, and it measures 6" x 8". Note that there are 100 or more Spanish language heralds spread through the pages, with a large number of Spanish language newspaper and magazine clippings in the rest of the pages. Note that the person who compiled this scrapbook only filled 108 pages. At some later date, someone filled in the remaining 36 of the pages with Spanish language clippings of stars from the 1930s through the 1990s!

Condition: very good. The covers of the scrapbook are somewhat banged up around the edges, but the interior pages are in pretty nice condition!
