Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Midnight Stage, the 1919 Ernest C. Warde silent cowboy western starring Frank Keenan, Mignon Anderson, Charles Gunn, Maude George, Ernest C. Warde, Dick La Reno, Arthur Allardt, Tom Guise, Joseph J. Dowling, and Wadsworth Harris. Note that Mignon Anderson was the daughter of a stage acting couple who was born in 1892. She was in her first movie in 1911, and in the middle teens she had romances with several top actors, earning her the nickname "Filet Mignon" (partially because she was just 5'1")! In 1920, she married actor J. Morris Foster, and they remained married until his passing in 1966, and she died 17 years later at the age of 88.

Important Added Info: Note that this is a hand-colored card. In the days of silent movie prior to the invention of good quality full-color printing, studios would have lobby cards printed in black and white and then amazingly would hire women to hand-color the cards one at a time (apparently labor was very cheap at the time)! So, each card is colored slightly differently, and the coloring is never a perfect match.

Condition: very good. There is a light partial vertical crease in the center of the card. There are very faint yellow stains in the bottom half of the image. There are minor creases and smudges around the edges of the card.
