Factotum, the 1975 Charles Bukowski World War II (WWII) Los Angeles social melodrama (Bukowski's second novel; about his alter ego, Henry Chinaski, trying to find work while remaining devoted to writing). Note that this book was latered adapted into a 2005 film starring Matt Damon!

Important Added Info: Note that this is almost surely a proof of the cover for this book. It measures 11" x 14", which is surely larger than the actual book, because it has excess blank paper on all four sides.
