An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Up in Betty's Bedroom, the 1920 Reggie Morris silent romantic comedy short ("A ComiClassic"; "Together with an art color scenic") starring Charlotte Merriam, and Jay Belasco (cousin of the famous David Belasco, but this one was the black sheep of the family, who got arrested on a drug charge the year this movie was made, and after, only played bit parts!). The only item we have ever seen from this movie is a one-sheet, and it shows two couples playing cards (which may well be "strip poker"), while a cop watches them from behind, which certainly sounds interesting! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this one-sheet, which is the one referenced in the description above!

What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and slight extra folds just below each horizontal fold, with pretty minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
