An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 13" [28 x 33 cm]) (Learn More)

Luther Reed's Cinderella's Twin, the 1920 Dallas M. Fitzgerald silent rags-to-riches mistaken identify crime romantic love triangle comedy ("From the original story by Luther Reed as scenarioized by Mr. Reed in person"; a modern day updating of the Cinderella fairy tale; in this version, she is a maid who attends a party for the daughter of a nouveau-riche man who wants her to marry a son of blue bloods, and a gang of crooks give the maid a makeover so that she can be a party guest and enable them to rob the rich guests, but when she does, the man intended to meet the rich man's daughter falls in love with the maid, and she runs off, losing her slipper!) starring Viola Dana, Wallace MacDonald, Ruth Stonehouse, Cecil Foster, Edward Connelly, and Victory Bateman. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a scene lobby card, a glass slide, and a few stills from this movie until we received this title card! Also note that this lobby card measures 11" x 13" [28 x 33 cm], but it does not appear to be trimmed. Sometimes studios would make lobby cards that were slightly smaller than usual, and we think that is the case here, because the borders are extremely even, and there is no sign of trimming.

Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. As noted above, the card measures 11" x 13", but we don't think it was trimmed (see above). It had some scuffs in the solid black areas and four tiny pinholes at top center, with one at bottom center and two tiny tears in the bottom border. It had a tiny pinhole in three corners. Someone performed slight restoration to the above black areas without backing the card.
