Some of her movies include: The Trouble with Harry, Turning Point (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), The Apartment, Being There, Irma La Douce (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Some Came Running (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), and Terms Of Endearment (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film) AND William Wyler was a great German director from the 1920s to the 1970s. Some of his movies include: The Collector (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), The Best Years of Our Lives, Dodsworth, Wuthering Heights (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Roman Holiday, Ben-Hur, Detective Story (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), and Counsellor at Law. Along with having made many of the greatest movies of all time (across many genres), he also directed more stars to Academy Awards than any other director, and that surely was no coincidence! Important Added Info: Note that this still has a great candid image of William Wyler receiving the Irving G. Thalberg Award at the 1966 Academy Awards ceremony (Shirley MacLaine is standing next to him). MacLaine acted in Wyler's 1962 movie, "The Children's Hour", and she likely presented the award to him. Condition: very good to fine. There are a very few very faint emulsion scuffs within the image, but they are only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light, and otherwise, the still is in excellent condition!
