An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Walt Disney's Academy Award Revue (also released as "Academy Award Revue of Walt Disney Cartoons"), the 1937 Walt Disney animation animated cartoon compilation ("Music - laughter - fun ...as only Walt Disney can combine them into magical entertainment!"; "Millions of people all over the world have laughed and cheered Disney's masterpieces. Now here is the cream of them all... the five pictures that won Hollywood's coveted Academy Award for five consecutive years. See them in one grand show!") that was released to help promote the upcoming release of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The compilation included: Flowers and Trees, Three Little Pigs, The Tortoise and the Hare, Three Orphan Kittens and The Country Cousin. Note that this compilation was re-released in 1966 with more shorts which included: The Old Mill, Ferdinand the Bull, The Ugly Duckling and The Reluctant Dragon

Important Added Info: Note that it can be very difficult to tell on 1930s Walt Disney stills if they are from the very first release, or if they are from a 1950s re-release (they can look almost identical). These stills come to us from a decades-long still collector who is certain they are from the first release of this cartoon, and we know him to be a great expert in this field, and we guarantee that what he says is true! Note that this item is in eMoviePoster.com's special "all animation" auction! The idea for this auction began when we were consigned a remarkable collection of original 1940s Walt Disney pressbooks, mini lobby cards, and standees (and almost all of those are extremely rare ones that are hardly ever auctioned, and they almost all are in really nice condition). Once we knew we had those items, we contacted all our past consignors, and asked them to consign to this very special auction, and they REALLY came through, consigning a wonderful assortment of cartoon movie paper of all sorts. Buying from this special auction gives you an incredibly rare opportunity to obtain some of the finest cartoon animation movie paper we have ever seen, and all of them will have new owners when these auctions close, because all start at $1 with no reserve. Many of these items will likely not be auctioned again for many years to come!

Condition: very good. There is a tiny faint stain in the bottom left corner that extends into the edge of the image. There is some minor border wear. There are tape stains on the back of each corner that extremely slightly darkened the front of each blank corner.
