An Autographed 8 1/4" x 9 3/4" [21 x 25 cm] REPRODUCTION Still (Learn More) Smiley Burnette was a character actor from the 1930s to the 1950s, playing mostly comedy supporting roles in B-westerns, primarily with Charles Starrett and Gene Autry. Near the end of his career, he had a role on TV's "Petticoat Junction" as the engineer on the Cannonball. Some of his movies include: Dick Tracy, Undersea Kingdom, and King of the Cowboys. Burnette passed away in 1967 at the age of 55. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Smiley Burnette! Also note that this REPRODUCTION measures 8 1/4" x 9 3/4" [21 x 25 cm]. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahoney Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Condition: good to very good. There is clear tape over most of the top border and a tiny bit in the bottom border.
