An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Greta Granstedt was an actress from the 1920s to the 1960s. She managed to make 117 movie and TV appearances between 1927 and 1964, but the vast majority of them were uncredited minor roles (from the mid 1950s on, she was mostly only on TV). She is far more interesting for her off screen life! She had eight husbands (at least), but information about those marriages is sketchy. When she was 14, she shot her 17 year old boyfriend under troubling circumstances. In 1927, she was the roommate of explorer Bessie Hyde, who vanished under mysterious circumstances with her husband while trying to become the first couple to travel the length of the Grand Canyon. Her parents were aboard the liner San Juan in 1929, when it sank after colliding with a tanker. Her father survived, but her mother did not. Miss Granstedt hassed away in 1987 at the age of 80. She seems to have had a very interesting life (and trouble followed her wherever she went), and it would be great if a movie were made about her. See her Wikipedia page to learn much more about her strange life! Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" [27 x 34 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock and it has an embossed photographer's stamp in the bottom right. Condition: good to very good.
