An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 25" x 40" [64 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) TWA: India, the 1950s - 1960s (see below) airline airplane aviation travel poster ("Fly TWA") encouraging people to use TWA (Trans World Airlines) when traveling to India. Note that this poster features David Klein artwork of a bejeweled elephant. As was common with travel posters, there are multiple versions of this poster which have the same Klein artwork, but feature a different airplane. The 1950s version shows a Lockheed Constellation propeller-driven aircraft, while the 1960s version shows the outline of a jet. Artist: David Klein Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned this circa 1950s poster once before (in January of 2021) and it sold for $980 (and that poster was in "good to very good" condition but THIS poster is in excellent condition!). We auctioned another version of this poster in August of 2021, but that poster was from the 1960s and THIS poster (and the one from January) is from the 1950s. Condition: very good to fine.
