eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 2z102 REXALL standee 1950s cool art of people in theater and more, $50,000 chocolate! Date Sold 1/3/2019Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Standee (measures 26" x 36" [66 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Rexall is a chain of drugstores, founded in 1903 by Louis K. Ligett under the cooperative United Drug Stores. After World War I (WWI) it was franchised and adopted the better-known name, but by the 1950s the company faced stiff competition by discount chains. In 1977 it was sold to private investors. There are still a few remaining drugstores that operate under the Rexall name, as well as a Canadian drug store chain that's called Rexall, and a line of products sold by Dollar General. Important Added Info: Note that this item needs to be shipped in an oversized flat package. Most of these items absolutely can only be sent in flat packages, and could not possibly be rolled into a tube. Some of them might SEEM like they could be rolled in a tube, like a half-sheet, but they can't. The reason these items are in this auction is specifically because they CAN'T be rolled (because rolling any of them would damage them, even if they somehow can be rolled). So please bear in mind that this item must be sent in a LARGE flat package (the size of the package will depend on the size of the item when ready for shipping), and bear this added expense in mind before placing a bid on it. Condition: good. The standee has slight discoloration scattered in some areas from exposure to moisture, several scuff marks in portions and a few other defects that can be clearly seen in our super-sized image. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid. Learn More about condition grades
