Because of a Radio-T.V. give-away show!"; "Ronald Colman loves Celeste Holm in the comedy toast of the year!"; "It's the comedy toast of the century!"; "The bubbliest, frothiest, tickliest comedy!"; "It's the prize fun hit that's setting new laugh records from coast to coast!"; "The Comedy toast of the year!"; "Colman's a one-man riot as the smartest man in the world. Celeste is a one-woman riot squad who really smartens him up! It's the bubbliest, frothiest, tickliest movie you ever celebrated!"; "Story and Screen Play by Hans Jacoby and Fred Brady"; about a college professor who goes on a quiz show and threatens to win so much that he bankrupts the company sponsoring the show) starring Ronald Colman, Celeste Holm, Vincent Price, Art Linkletter, Barbara Britton, Mel Blanc (as the voice of Caesar the Parrot; "I'm Caesar!"), and Byron Foulger NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this daybill was used by The Orpheum theater in Sydney, Australia that originally opened in 1935! The theater featured art deco design, two levels and seating for 1735. The theater was sold in the 1970s and converted into a shopping center. Luckily, in 1986, it was lovingly restored and re-opened as the Hayden Orpheum! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: fair to good. There is a theater snipe glued across the bottom of the poster that adds approximately 3 1/2" to the overall height of the poster (the poster was not trimmed and the snipe could surely be removed by a professional restorer, or talented amateur, if one chose to do so). There is tattering and paper loss around the edges of the poster and there are creases scattered throughout. Learn More about condition grades
