He had a long-running newspaper column in the New York Post. Some of his books include: Why Sinatra Matters, Loving Women, The Guns of Heaven, and A Drinking Life: A Memoir. He wrote a couple of screenplays for movies, and at one time he was romantically connected to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis! He also was one of the four men who disarmed Sirhan Sirhan after Robert F. Kennedy's assassination. Pete passed away in 2020 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Pete Hamill on the title page! Our consignor purchased this from a bookstore when the book first came out, and it was sold as a personally signed copy, and we are 100% sure it is authentic.
