An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Comet Over Broadway, the 1938 Busby Berkeley New York City stage acting theater romantic love triangle family relationship melodrama (a wacky melodrama of a woman who wants to be an actress, and her jealous husband kills a fellow actor and goes to jail for it, leaving her to raise her infant daughter, and she becomes a major star, but is conflicted with her new love and her obligation to her jailed husband!) starring Kay Francis, Ian Hunter, John Litel, Donald Crisp, Minna Gombell, and Dudley Dickerson. Note that it seems especially odd that while this was a Warner Bros. movie directed by Busby Berkeley about Broadway stage acting, it is not a musical (except for background music). If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. The card is somewhat discolored, typical of vintage lobby cards printed on linen paper. There is an enlarged tack hole at lower left and there are some tack holes, creases, and 3/8" and smaller tears around the edges of the card. Note that this lobby card has no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and has never had any restoration of any kind! Learn More about condition grades
