Date Sold 7/14/2019 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 7 8x10 1980s REPRODUCTION photos from Flash Gordon, the 1936 Frederick Stephani science fiction (sci-fi) serial ("The first great serial spectacle!"; "The Gigantic Serial Spectacle! 13 Chapters of Strange World Adventures"; "Syndicated by King Features"; "From Alex Raymond's famous newspaper comic strip"; "13 Thrilling Chapters!") starring Buster Crabbe (in the title role "as Flash Gordon"; the 1932 Olympic swimming champion who is most famous for this role and as "Buck Rogers" in the Universal serials), Jean Rogers ("as Dale Arden"), Charles Middleton ("as Emperor Ming" [Ming the Merciless]), Priscilla Lawson ("as Aura"), Frank Shannon ("as Dr. Zarkov"), Jack 'Tiny' Lipson (billed as "John Lipson as Vultan"), Richard Alexander ("as Prince Barin"), James Pierce, Duke Ford Jr., and Theodore Lorch. AND Freaks, the classic 1932 Tod Browning circus romantic love triangle horror fantasy thriller ("Can a full grown woman truly love a midget?"; with actual circus sideshow human oddities!) starring Wallace Ford, Leila Hyams, Olga Baclanova (as Cleopatra, who turns into the Chicken Woman at the end of the movie!), Roscoe Ates, Henry Victor (as Hercules), Harry Earles (as Hans), Daisy Earles (as Frieda), Rose Dione, Daisy Hilton & Violet Hilton (the Siamese Twins), Schlitze (as himself), Josephine Joseph (as the Half Woman-Half Man), Johnny Eck (as the Half Boy), Frances O'Connor (as an Armless Girl), Peter Robinson (as the Human Skeleton), Olga Roderick (as the Bearded Lady), Koo Koo (the "Bird Girl", as herself), Prince Randian (billed as "Rardion"; as The Living Torso), Martha Morris (as an Armless Girl), Elvira Snow (as a Pinhead), Jenny Lee Snow (as a Pinhead), Elizabeth Green (as a Bird Girl), Angelo Rossitto (one of the most successful "little people" actors from the 1920s on), Edward Brophy, Matt McHugh, and John Aasen (as the Giant).
