An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (11x14; LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Daring Danger, the 1932 D. Ross Lederman cowboy western starring Tim McCoy ("daredevil..."; "Rides and fights his way thru Daring Danger"), Alberta Vaughn, Wallace MacDonald, Robert Ellis and Richard Alexander
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: fair to good. There are pinholes in the corners and creases and smudges around the edges of the card. Someone drew a pencil "baseball diamond" in the background area at top center, and penciled in the numbers of the positioned players. There are water stains to the left of that pencil writing. There are two long diagonal creases in the upper right of the card. There is slight bleed through from the grid marks of pencil on the back (see the following). Someone used the back of the card to keep the box score of the fourth game of the World Series in 1945 (between the Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers). Apparently, 13 years after the movie was released, someone considered this lobby card "scrap paper", and used it in this fashion! The back of the card is covered with pencil writing and a grid of pencil lines, but the card is on thick paper stock, and the pencil writing on the back DOES affect the front slightly (but it seems like a kind of cool addition to the card, since the Dodgers that year had Hank Greenberg and other top players, and the White Sox played a total of sixteen players in the game, unusual in that era when the nine players who started the game tended to finish the game!). Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card!
