An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Three Faces West, the 1940 Bernard Vorhaus World War II (WWII) Home Front romantic love triangle adventure melodrama ("GUILTY of daring to love and live"; a complicated story of an Austrian surgeon and his daughter who flee Germany to escape Hitler, and they go to a small town in North Dakota; but the town is devastated by dust storms, and all the townspeople are led to Oregon by a handsome young man, who the daughter starts to fall for, but her father wants her to marry the man who helped them escape from Germany, but she learns that he has embraced Nazism) starring John Wayne, Sigrid Gurie, Charles Coburn, Spencer Charters, and Helen MacKellar. Note that it goes unstated in the movie, but it seems obvious that the surgeon and his daughter are Jewish, and one of the screenwriters was Samuel Ornitz, who was later one of the blacklisted Hollywood Ten screenwriters! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this card has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are faint smudges and several pairs of staple holes around the edges. There are also several tiny tape repairs on the back of tiny tears around the edges.
