Note that this movie is quite a mystery! A resourceful collector pointed out that this movie was likely filmed in Malaysia in 1971 as "The Rare Blue Apes of Cannibal Isle", and based on a 1975 newspaper ad, was released in the U.S. as "Cap'n Krock and the Rare Blue Apes". The movie was submitted to the Australian censors in 1977 as "Pirates of Cannibal Isle" before having the name changed to "Mr. Quack Quack and the Rare Blue Ape".
