The Idle Class, the 1921 Charles Chaplin silent mistaken identity comedy short ("Charles Chaplin's greatest and funniest comedy"; "You'll see him double in The Idle Class"; "Written and directed by Charles Chaplin"; about a tramp who sneaks into an upper class golf resort and is mistaken for a rich man) starring Charlie Chaplin (Charles Chaplin; in a dual role), Edna Purviance, Mack Swain, Henry Bergman, Al Ernest Garcia, John Rand, Rex Storey, Lillian McMurray, and Lita Grey
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card is extremely rare. While we have auctioned three different scene cards from this movie, we have never before auctioned this scene card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: fair. There is much water staining and other stains around the edges of the card, with some extending into the image area (fortunately, they are not very visible in the dark background). There is a tiny bit of paper loss in each top blank corner. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this card. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Obviously, this great card can be restored, and it is likely that much of the staining can be removed chemically, but bear in mind its defects before bidding.
