Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this special brochure and set of 7 1/4" x 9 1/2" [18 x 24 cm] stills that was sent out prior to the opening of this movie on December 16, 1962, in New York City. The brochure measures 7 1/4" x 19", but it is folded twice, one quarter of the way from the edge on the left and right, so it forms a brochure with an opening in the middle, and the 34 stills can be placed inside of the brochure. Since the brochure has information about the premiere date on the back, and says "PLAN A BENEFIT OR THEATRE PARTY", and gives a phone number, it 100% certainly was created prior to December 16 (likely a month or more earlier) and sent out to select recipients in the hopes that they would book a special showing of the movie as a benefit or special reserved showing. The cover of the brochure is the classic silhouette art of Peter O'Toole as Lawrence, and it is separated down the middle, because that is how the brochure opened. The inside has quotes from Winston Churchill, George Bernard Shaw, and Chaim Weizmann, about Lawrence, and there are images from the movie and credits inside as well (see our many images). The 34 stills all measure 7 1/4" x 9 1/2", and we have pictured all of those. It is unlikely we will ever auction this really cool promotional item again, as surely few were made and likely very few remained intact even a short time after they were created.

Condition: very good. The stills are in excellent condition. The brochure has tears and separation on the left and right sides and some smudges and creases around the edges (see our images).
