Tears loose with a gun in his hand!"; "Sinatra ...out to get the No. 1 man in the nation!"; "Sinatra ...as a kill-hungry hoodlum!"; about an attempted assassination of the President) starring Frank Sinatra ("The Academy Award Winner of 'From Here To Eternity' Scores a New Hit!"; as a psychotic assassin), Sterling Hayden, James Gleason, Nancy Gates, Kim Charney, and Paul Frees. Note that legend says that after President Kennedy was killed in 1963, Frank Sinatra asked that this movie be removed from distribution, but that is purely an urban legend. It is also said that Lee Harvey Oswald watched this movie days before the Kennedy assassination, but that may also be legend. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Mr. Sanders was a nationally recognized projectionist, film poster collector, and union activist who passed away last year, and the net proceeds from the sale of his varied and eclectic collection will be donated to promote film studies at the Besant School of Happy Valley in Ojai, Ca. Condition: fair. There are some creases, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths around the edges. A few of the tears or other defects as described above are repaired with tape from the back. There is paper loss in the upper crossfold and there are stains, scuffs and some scratches in the art of Sinatra's face at upper right. There is a small tear at upper right just over Sinatra's shoulder that has been repaired with tape from the back and colored in with black marker.
