Important Added Info: NOTE: In this case, the #2 in the title of this sale is not the style of the poster. In this case, the styles from this particular set of posters were not labeled, but because we are selling more than one poster from this title this week as separate eBay sales, we needed to differentiate between them, and we did so by marking them "#1, #2, etc. Condition: good. This poster was linenbacked, but it was either NOT linenbacked by a very talented restorer, OR it was linenbacked many years ago, and has received rough handling over the years, OR it had fairly significant defects that were not well restored. If it was restored, you can clearly see signs of the restoration even from a distance. This is a poster that would surely benefit from additional professional restoration. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "Pre-Restoration Defects & Quality of Restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had a 2" strip of additional credits across the bottom of the poster that was neatly trimmed off (we know this both because of the smaller size, and because we have a slightly different version of this poster that DOES have those credits). Other than the trimmed area, there were some creases and tiny tears in the edges, and a few faint scuffs in the image. The poster was fairly well backed, and I doubt virtually anyone would realize that the bottom credits area was missing. Learn More about condition grades
