From the early 20th century onwards, an association began with P&O which became 51% shareholder in 1919 and culminated in the Orient Line being totally absorbed into that company in 1966. Artist: Frank Newbould Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had creases and some pinholes around the edges, with some creases and scuffs scattered in the image. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
