Date Sold 6/10/2021Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 3/4" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Buster Keaton ("The Great Stone Face") was an actor from the 1900s to the 1960s. He was (along with Charlie Chaplin) one of the two most famous comedians in silent movies, and he continued to make sound movies as well. He has too many wonderful movies to list, but some of his movies include: The General, Sherlock Jr., The Cameraman, and he made a very memorable final cameo appearance in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He passed away in 1966 at the age of 70. Important Added Info: Note that this still has paper loss in the right edge, and it now measures 7 3/4" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Obviously, it is very sad that it has this paper loss, but at the same time, it is very lucky that the paper loss is almost entirely in the blank background and blank border, and even the "BK" still code at bottom right was not affected! Certainly, a top professional could restore this still and make it display well, but certainly, bear all this in mind before bidding. Condition: fair. Please read the above and look at our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this still before placing a bid. Learn More about condition grades
