An Original 1934 Vintage Theatrical Laminated Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Song You Gave Me, the 1933 (released in the U.S. in 1934) Paul L. Stein English romantic musical comedy ("Bebe Daniels in a Charming Comedy Romance with Music"; "Touches the heart's high note of love!"; based on the story "The Song Is Ended" by Walter Reisch) starring Bebe Daniels, Victor Varconi, Frederick Lloyd, Claude Hulbert, Lester Matthews, and Iris Ashley. Note that American star Bebe Daniels made this movie in London, and showed that she could sing as well as act. Apparently, Miss Daniels liked London quite a bit, because she later moved there permanently! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a window card and different scene card from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this lobby card! Note that this lobby card has been laminated! It is quite likely that there is no way to reverse this process. However, I have seen many lobby cards that have been laminated for over 20 years, and the lamination does not hurt the cards in any way, plus it seems to completely protect them, while allowing them to be easily displayed with no fear of damage. HOWEVER, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS LOBBY CARD UNLESS YOU WANT TO PURCHASE A LAMINATED LOBBY CARD! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. The card had pinholes and some paper loss around the edges and it had darkened. Someone had it laminated exactly as it is.
