An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Bullitt, the classic 1968 Peter Yates San Francisco California crime car chase action thriller ("The word 'cop' isn't written all over him - something more puzzling is."; "There are bad cops and there are good cops - and then there's Bullitt."; "Bullitt comes to this theatre soon. That ought to shake up the place pretty good. Not many freaky cops like Bullitt around. You look at the Italian shoes and the turtleneck and you have to wonder. You listen to the official beefs about 'personal misconduct,' 'disruptive influence,' you figure he's got to be up for trade. But when some rare Chicago blood starts spilling in San Francisco, they give Bullitt the mop. They weren't exactly doing him a favor. But they've done a great big one for you."; "Detective Lt. Frank Bullitt - some other kind of cop. Pity the guy he works for."; "Based on the novel 'Mute Witness' by Robert L. Pike"; about a detective who drives a 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback while pursuing professional hitmen who murdered the wrong guy and let's not forget the really cool chase scenes!) starring Steve McQueen (in the title role "as Bullitt"), Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset, Don Gordon, Robert Duvall, Simon Oakland, and Norman Fell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that most of the domestic "orange" one-sheets for this film have an M rating, but a few do not. The international one-sheets feature a different design and are stamped "FOREIGN" on the back, so we know the orange one-sheets without a rating are not a different style of international poster. This film was released on October 17th of 1968, less than a month before the voluntary MPAA rating system was implemented, which means the orange one-sheets without an M rating are from a very early printing, before the film was rated. Some people might not care about this difference, and others might think it to be a very significant difference! We do know that this "unrated" style is far more rare than the one with ratings. We will let the bidders be the judge of how significant this difference is! Condition: good. Someone used a thin black marker to write an advertisement over the back of the poster, and that marker writing slightly bleeds through to the front (slightly more noticeable in the lighter-colored areas such as the orange background). It has creases scattered throughout and some moderate fold wear. There is an extra fold over the lower horizontal fold, and there is tiny paper loss at the top crossfold. Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this poster prior to placing a bid. Learn More about condition grades
