Some of her movies include: Life With Father, Reign of Terror, and Journey to the Center of the Earth. She was previously married to actors Fernando Lamas and Lex Barker. She passed away in 2021 at the age of 95. Important Added Info: Note that this letter has been personally autographed (signed) by Arlene Dahl (on her personal stationery)! She was replying to being asked to be a judge in the Miss America pageant, and she said that she "usually receives $5,000 plus first class round trip transportation and expenses for two, since, as you know, she never travels alone"! Also note that this auction also includes the envelope this letter was originally mailed in! Note that this signed item (and a number of other signed items in this auction) come from the collection of Lily Mae Caldwell, who was a newspaper film reviewer for many years, starting in the early 1930s and continuing into the 1970s. During her career she met many celebrities, both in person and through correspondence, and over that time she acquired a number of signed items. This item was found in her estate, and while she did not have a Certificate of Authenticity, we feel certain that the autograph on this item (and the other items from her collection in this auction) are surely authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
