Murnau silent romantic love triangle crime melodrama ("The outstanding achievement of the motion picture art"; "Scenario by Carl Mayer"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring George O'Brien, Janet Gaynor (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Margaret Livingston, Bodil Rosing, and J. Farrell MacDonald. Note that at the very first Oscar ceremony, this movie was awarded the Oscar for "Best Picture, Unique and Artistic Production". Also, Janet Gaynor won that first Best Actress Academy Award (it was for this movie and two others she made that year). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that our consignor purchased this from the estate sale of George O'Brien, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. However, we feel certain that it was the personal example owned by Mr. O'Brien. The supplement has cool ads and images, but it does not show any posters. Condition: very good. The supplement is complete and uncut and it is folded across the middle.
