Jack Cooper was an English actor from the 1910s to the 1940s who worked in the U.S. and was featured in Hal Roach and Mack Sennett movies in the 1920s) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but after it was backed, it acquired faint water stains scattered down the left and right of the excess linen only. It also acquired water stains in the top and bottom edges that affected both the excess linen and the top and bottom blank borders of the poster. The poster could be displayed and enjoyed exactly as it is, especially since the water staining would not show if the poster is framed, and of course, it could be re-backed (see our images for the exact location and extent of the water stains around the edges).
