An Original Vintage German Campaign Book (measures 11 1/2" x 16" [29 x 41 cm]; 126 pages) (Learn More) UFA 1937-38, the 1937 German campaign book advertising UFA's many upcoming movies and stars for the following year. It is filled with ads describing the movies and also full pages promoting their actors and actresses. Of course, by this time (1937), almost all of Germany's top actors had left for other countries, and the ones that were left were primarily ones that stayed making movies through World War II, which meant they did not have a career after World War II, so most of them are only familiar to those knowledgeable about German stars and movies of the 1930s. Also, some of the movies included are Nazi propaganda movies! German campaign books from before and during World War II are even more rare than those from other countries or from the U.S. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this German campaign book! Note: We have 14 images of this campaign book, but due to a space limitation, only TEN of the 14 images are displayed above. However, there is a "supersize" link to the right of those images that lets you see the other 4. Condition: very good. The blank spine is partially separating from the book but is complete.
