An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Polish Movie Poster (measures approximately 23" x 33") (Learn More) Lo Sceicco Bianco (released in the U.S. as "The White Sheik"), the 1952 Federico Fellini Italian Arabian romantic love triangle marriage adventure comedy ("A very funny picture by Federico Fellini"; written by Michelangelo Antonioni; about a woman on her honeymoon, who happens to be where a famous Latin lover movie star is filming a movie, and she imagines being with him instead of her dull husband) starring Alberto Sordi (in the title role as The White Sheik), Brunella Bovo, Leopoldo Trieste, Ernesto Almirante, Lilia Landi, Fanny Marchio, Gina Mascetti, Jole Silvani, Enzo Maggio, Anna Primula, Mimo Billi, Armando Libianchi, and Giulietta Masina. Note that this was the first feature film that Fellini directed entirely by himself, and that the idea for this movie was given to Fellini by Michelangelo Antonioni! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: M. Stachurski Important Added Info: This Polish poster measures approximately 23" x 33" and is linenbacked. Also note that although this poster is dated 1960, it is from the first Polish release of this movie! Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). OR you can't see the restoration because it was so well done, but the poster had fairly significant defects. OR no restoration was performed, but the defects are not major, and restoration could be done to the poster without re-backing it. See below for its pre-restoration defects (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Poster had a few very minor smudges and creases, as well as some minor border defects, including creases and small tears. The poster is well linenbacked, and the restored defects are not very noticeable. Learn More about condition grades
