The series featured the title character dealing with office and dating situations. The strip evolved to focus on the younger characters and was renamed Morty Meekle and Winthrop and then just Winthrop. Important Added Info: Note that this is a special promotional brochure created by NEA, the syndicate that distributed this comic strip to newspapers. It told of what a big hit the new strip was, and it contained a 4-page tabloid full-color section, filled with strips and information about the strip. The four outer pages contain more information about how newspapers could acquire it. Not only have we never auctioned this before, but we have also never auctioned a similar promo brochure for a newly published newspaper comic strip! Condition: very good.
