eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 4b0494 ARE WE CIVILIZED LC 1934 William Farnum kissing Anita Louise, cool border art, ultra rare! Date Sold 4/11/2023Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Edwin Carewe's Are We Civilized?, the 1934 Edwin Carewe anti-totalitarian government political melodrama (apparently intended to be an attack on the dangers of Nazism, but no names are mentioned, and it is set in a fictitious European country) starring William Farnum, Anita Louise, Frank McGlynn Sr., LeRoy Mason, and Oscar Apfel. Note that we have never auctioned any posters from this movie, but the lobby cards have great border art of a hand holding a barbaric spiked club, so we would love to see if the posters also have similar art! If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY first release movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two lobby cards and a few stills from this movie (and NO other first release movie paper of any kind) until we received this third lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
