eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 9h362 JEANNE MOREAU group of 4 35mm slides 1970s portraits of the French actress by Don Ornitz! Date Sold 9/29/2019Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. A Group of 4 Original Vintage Photographic 35mm Slide (measure 2" x 2" [5 x 5 cm]) (Learn More) Jeanne Moreau was a legendary French actress from the 1940s to 2017. Some of her movies include: Les Quatre Cents Coups (The 400 Blows), Ever After, Jules et Jim, Le Proces, L'amant, and Viva Maria. She passed away in 2017 at the age of 89. Important Added Info: Note that these are studio-issued 35mm slides that are produced by the studio but are not the camera original. Sometimes some or all of the slides have printing on the cardboard holder that gives the name of the movie, a credit for the photographer, and the copyright from the studio (see our images of these slides to know what information, if any, is on the holders). In the case of this set of slides, they were consigned to us by an individual, and we don't know if they were part of or all of the set that was sent with a presskit, or if they were distributed in another way, but we DO know that these slides were created either when the movie first came out, or even before the movie was released, for advance publicity. The slides are photographed on a light box, which allows you to see the images. In the case of THIS particular set of slides, we scanned all of them, and we wanted you to see just how high quality they are. That means there are photos of all the slides, PLUS scans of all of them, which means there are four "extra" images (because the ones scanned are also in the ones photographed). This is a very special auction of 366 extremely rare negatives and transparencies of various sizes, and also lots of sets of 35mm slides. EVERY single item in this auction is either "studio issued" (meaning it was created by the studio and sent to theaters and movie outlets), OR it is a "camera original" (meaning it was the actual negative that was in the camera when the photographer took the picture). Every auction clearly identifies which they are, and there are no items being auctioned that are not either "studio issue" or "camera originals". We have divided them by type and size. Also note that this auction is for one or more sets of 35mm slides (some sets are VERY large!), and every one of the auctions of 35mm slides we are currently running have been either photographed in a light box (or in the case of a few titles), up to 4 of the slides have been scanned expertly. If any of the slides were scanned, we have added an "eMoviePoster.com" watermark over it. The winner of this auction and ONLY the winner of this auction will, upon request, be sent the UNWATERMARKED scan(s) of any slides we scanned. However, in the vast majority of cases, we did not scan any slides, and in those cases, we can send the winner of the auction unwatermarked photos of what was on the auction, but we can't send scans of slides we did not scan! Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
