Artist: Michael Kaplan Important Added Info: Note that this poster (known in the hobby as the "psychedelic eye" style, and the most valuable and desirable 1970s movie poster there is) is one of two special wilding posters created for the 1970 re-launch of this movie by Mike Kaplan, who was 2001's marketing point man, which adopted a completely different ad campaign, and a new tagline, "the ultimate trip". These two posters were conceived by Mr. Kaplan, and when the movie was given its 70mm (with full stereo sound, correct lenses, etc.) re-launch in March 1970, Mr. Kaplan had many examples of these two posters printed, and they were used in New York City, where they were posted on walls and building sites all over New York City just prior to the movie's release (this was called "wildposting" in 1970, but nowadays it is called "wilding"). The poster was never folded. It has a tiny area of staining in the bottom left blank corner and very minor creases scattered in the image.
