Franklin & Sidney Franklin silent romantic crime melodrama (about a father and daughter who emigrate to America from Holland, and the father is an engraver, and the daughter falls in love with an Italian immigrant; her father is tricked into making counterfeit money, but everything works out in the end) starring Dorothy Gish (in the title role as Gretchen Van Houck), Ralph Lewis, Eugene Pallette, Elmo Lincoln, and Frank Bennett. Note that the term "greenhorn" referred to any immigrant to the United States who was "fresh off the boat" and unfamiliar with the language or customs of their adopted country.
