An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

Hollywood at Play, the 1951 Ralph Staub biographical celebrity documentary newsreel short ("Brand new laugh riot!"; "Fame's funniest pair"; "A Columbia 'Screen Snapshots' special") featuring Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. It was made in 1951 after they filmed "That's My Boy", but before they made "Sailor Beware". Note that Screen Snapshots were a series of documentary short subjects produced by Columbia between 1924 and 1958. They featured behind-the-scenes footage of Hollywood stars of the day at various Hollywood events or parties. Starting around 1930, these short documentaries were almost exclusively written, produced and directed (and occasionally edited and narrated) by Ralph Staub.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this poster! It is not that difficult to obtain one-sheets from all of Martin & Lewis' regular movies, but the ones for this short (which is likely the only paper they made for it) is next to impossible to find!

Condition: very good to fine. The poster has tiny separation at the bottom two crossfolds and faint partial diagonal creases in the corners. Otherwise, it is in really nice condition!
