Allotment Wives, the 1945 William Nigh bad girl marriage crime film noir ("Inside story of the most nefarious racket of them all!"; "Original Story by Sidney Sutherland"; about women who marry soldiers so they can get the pay checks and hopefully life insurance checks if their husbands die in battle) starring Kay Francis (in one of her final film roles before her 1946 retirement), Paul Kelly, Otto Kruger, Gertrude Michael, Teala Loring, Bernard Nedell, Anthony Warde, Matty Fain, and Jonathan Hale

Important Added Info: Note that this script is the final draft from June 5, 1945 and the screenplay was written by Harvey Gates and Sidney Sutherland. Also note that the script has the working title "Allotment Wives, Inc." on the cover, but the movie ultimately was called "Allotment Wives". Note that there are a huge number of handwritten revisions throughout the entire script. Also note that there are two loose pages in the script which have the trailer scenes.
