What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and pretty minor wear on the folds. It had small paper loss in the white background below the "r" of "Tracy" near the center of the poster, and it had tears and areas of paper loss around the edges, with one tear near the middle of the left border, extending into the body of the standing man. It had the name of the movie written on the back of the vertical fold, and it slightly bled through to the front in the white background to the left of the "E" of "Erwin". Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Given the poster's defects, the restorer did an excellent job of linenbacking the poster, and it displays really well!
