Herblock won three Pulitzer Prizes for editorial cartooning, and coined the term 'McCarthyism' in a cartoon drawn for the Washington Post in 1950! He passed away in 2001 at the age of 91. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Herbert Block (surely the person acquiring the autograph said "Write something sexy" and Mr. Block literally did that!). Note that this signed index card was consigned to us from the estate of Bob DePietro, who was a very longtime collector/dealer of movie memorabilia. He also worked in the movie business, and had close contact with many celebrities, and acquired many signed items in person. He is no longer with us to tell us how this signed item was acquired, and there is no certificate of authenticity, but we feel certain it is authentic. The index card could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
