An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Prep and Pep, the 1928 David Butler military academy romantic boxing sports competition melodrama ("Desire under the campus elms"; "Story by William Conselman and David Butler"; "Scenario by John Stone"; about a young man who goes to a military academy, and his father was their greatest athlete ever, but he is bad at every sport, but then he proves himself a champion at breaking horses, and he rescues the commandant's daughter) starring David Rollins, Nancy Drexel, John Darrow, E.H. Calvert, and Frank Albertson. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The cardboard holder has staining around the edges, but otherwise it is in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
