2 Original Vintage Theatrical Chapter #5 (The Strike Breeders) Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Eagle's Eye, the 1918 George Lessey & Wellington A. Playter silent World War I (WWI) government spy espionage crime melodrama serial ("The plot against the fleet"; "How Imperial Germany attempted to torpedo the Atlantic Fleet at the time the president reviewed it"; "Boy-ed explaining his plan to torpedo part of the Atlantic Fleet and bottle-up the rest") starring King Baggot, Marguerite Snow, William Bailey, Bertram Marburgh, Paul Everton, and Florence Short. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that first release movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have never sold any lobby cards before for this title until we were consigned these two lobby cards, and we have only auctioned ONE other movie paper item for it (a one-sheet and that was in 1996!).

Condition: good to very good. The card pictured at top has pinholes around the edges and some creases and tears at top. It has some pencil writing at upper left and a few faint scuffs at right. The other card has a small tear at upper right that has been repaired with tape from the back, a tape stain at upper right, some pinholes around the edges and some scuffs and creases in portions of the image. They are otherwise in generally nice condition especially given their age!
