An Original Vintage Pulp Magazine (measures 6 1/2" x 10" [17 x 25 cm]) (Learn More)

Weird Tales was described by science fiction historian Robert Weinberg as "the most important and influential of all fantasy magazines". It was first published in 1923 and it included early work by H.P. Lovecraft, C.A. Smith, and many others, and it is best remembered for its wonderful covers, especially the legendary sexy ones by female artist Margaret Brundage! It changed publishers and owners several times and ceased publication in 1954. There were attempts to revive it over the years, but none had much success. It is among the most desirable of all pulp magazines!
Artist: Margaret Brundage
Important Added Info: Note that this issue has a great Margaret Brundage cover for Jack Williamson novel, The Ruler of Fate! Also note that this is one of nine cool 1930s pulp magazines we were consigned, which we are currently auctioning in nine separate auctions, all with great cover images!

Condition: good to very good. There is a diagonal piece cut from the top left corner of the back cover that slightly affects the ad on the back cover and the interior back cover. The cover is in pretty nice condition (see our images).
